Liverpool denies claims already held talks with Bellingham

The German coach Jürgen Klopp has denied claims that he has already held talks with Jude Bellingham’s parents, amid reports that Liverpool is interested in signing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder. It was reported that Liverpool and several major European clubs want to sign the 19 years old Bellingham, who shows a brilliant performance with Dortmund, and starred with the England national team in the Qatar World Cup 2022. Bellingham's contract with Dortmund extends until 2025, and therefore any club that wants to include him will have to pay Approximately 100 million euros (106 million dollars). However, former Dortmund coach Klopp did not deny his interest in the young player in general, but he told the weekly newspaper "Sport Bild" that he had not had any talks with him.
In an interview with SportBILD, the former Borussia Dortmund head coach said: “Jude is a great player who we are familiar with, of course. We’d be stupid not to have him on our radar. But there’s nothing more to say at the moment.” (on reports that he has already held talks with Jude Bellingham’s parents) “These things are not possible because he is under contract with Borussia Dortmund and that is not possible without their consent. So it’s not true.” Liverpool is set to face competition from the ikes of Manchester City and Real Madrid for Bellingham’s signature if he makes the decision to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The Black and Yellows are set to hold initial talks with the midfielder’s parents and advisor this week to discuss his future. The BVB bosses are hoping to get some clarity on his plans for the future in the coming weeks. It is being widely touted that the 19-year-old will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season
